Experience Victorian Ghost Stories at Culbertson Mansion This Holiday Season

Join the Friends of Culbertson Mansion for an evening of eerie tales, hot chocolate, and traditional Twelfth Cake by the fire.

Step back in time and immerse yourself in a cherished Victorian holiday tradition at the Culbertson Mansion State Historic Site in New Albany, Indiana.

 

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the mansion will host "The Spirits of Christmas: Victorian Ghost Stories."

 

During the Victorian era, sharing ghost stories on Christmas Eve was a popular custom.

 

Embracing this tradition, the Friends of Culbertson Mansion invite guests to gather around the fireplace for an evening of spine-chilling tales.

 

Attendees can savor hot chocolate and enjoy a slice of traditional Twelfth Cake beside the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

 

Tickets are priced at $15 per person, with a 25% discount available for members.

 

Advance registration is required, and the deadline to register is December 5.
