Floyd County Halloween in the Park Rescheduled for October 29

Community Gathers for a Spooktacular Evening at Sam Peden Community Park

After the original event was postponed due to inclement weather, the much-anticipated Floyd County Halloween in the Park is now set for Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

This free community gathering is a collaborative effort between Floyd County Parks and Recreation and the Floyd County Sheriff's Office.

Residents are invited to join the festivities from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Sam Peden Community Park, located at 3037 Grant Line Road, New Albany, IN 47150.

The event will take place in the rear of the park at Shelter House No. 4.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including:

🎃 Pumpkin decorating presented by Grant Line Nursery and Garden Center.

🎃 Thaumatrope toy crafting with the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana.

🎃 Face painting for all ages.

🎃 Candy and treats to satisfy every sweet tooth.
