Floyd County Halloween in the Park Rescheduled for October 29, 2025

Community Event Returns with Festive Activities at Sam Peden Community Park

After the original event was canceled due to inclement weather, the Floyd County Parks and Recreation and the Floyd County Sheriff's Office have rescheduled the annual Halloween in the Park for Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

The festivities will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Sam Peden Community Park, located at 3037 Grant Line Road, New Albany, IN 47150. Attendees should head to Shelter House No. 4 at the rear of the park for the event.

This free community gathering promises a variety of family-friendly activities, including:

🎃 Pumpkin decorating presented by Grant Line Nursery and Garden Center.

🎃 Thaumatrope toy crafting with the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana.

🎃 Face painting for children of all ages.

🎃 Candy distribution to satisfy every sweet tooth.
