Community Gathers for Spooktacular Fun at Sam Peden Community Park |
Mark your calendars for the third annual Floyd County Halloween in the Park, set to take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Sam Peden Community Park in New Albany, Indiana.
This free event, hosted by Floyd County Parks and Recreation and the Floyd County Sheriff's Office, promises an afternoon filled with festive activities for all ages.
Attendees can look forward to:
đ Trunk-or-treating
đ Pumpkin decorating
đ Face painting
đ Inflatables and yard games
The festivities will be held in the rear of the park, near Shelter House No. 4, located at 3037 Grant Line Road, New Albany, IN 47150.
In addition to the Halloween in the Park event, the community is buzzing with other seasonal activities.
On October 22, the Floyd County Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center will host "Art in Autumn: The Pumpkin Patch Parade", a free art session where participants can create 3D pumpkin designs.
For those seeking more Halloween fun, the City of New Albany's All Hallows Eve Celebration is scheduled for October 25 at the New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater, featuring games, candy, inflatables, and more.
