Jeffersonville Honors General Adam Rogge with Commodore of the Port Award

Mayor Mike Moore presents prestigious award to hometown hero's family

In a heartfelt ceremony, Mayor Mike Moore bestowed the esteemed Commodore of the Port award upon General Adam Rogge, a distinguished son of Jeffersonville.

Accepting the honor on his behalf was his father, Bob Rogge, reflecting the family's deep roots in the community.

General Rogge, currently serving as a Brigadier General in the Colorado National Guard, holds the distinction of being the first general born in Jeffersonville.

A proud alumnus of Jeffersonville High School, his early years included working at Dave’s Produce, laying the foundation for a remarkable career.

His service spans the United States Air Force, the FBI, and contributions to the United States Space Force, showcasing a commitment that brings immense pride to his hometown.

General Rogge is the son of Bob and Lisa Kay Rogge.

Bob, now retired from Vectran (Center Point), dedicated many years as an area manager and served the community on the Drainage Boards.

The City of Jeffersonville celebrates General Rogge’s achievements and his enduring connection to his roots.
