City of New Albany Relaunches Emergency Repair Program with $100,000 in Funding

Homeowners Can Access Up to $10,000 for Critical Repairs

The City of New Albany has announced the return of its Emergency Repair Program (ERP), allocating an additional $100,000 to assist homeowners with essential repairs.

This initiative aims to address critical issues such as plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, furnace replacements, and accessibility modifications.

The program's previous success has prompted this renewed commitment to support residents in maintaining safe and habitable homes.

Eligible homeowners can receive grants of up to $10,000 through this Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)-supported program.

To apply, residents should contact Blevin Slone at New Directions Housing Corporation by calling 502-719-7181 or emailing blevin.slone@ndhc.org.

This program underscores New Albany's dedication to enhancing the quality of life for its residents by ensuring their homes remain safe and functional.
