New Performance Stage at The Depot to Enrich Community Events |
Charlestown's vibrant youth scene is set to flourish, thanks to a generous $4,500 grant from the Rotary Club of Clark County.
Presented by Club President David Seckman, this funding will facilitate the construction of a performance stage at The Depot, the popular teen hangout located within the Family Activities Park.
Since its opening in 2024, The Depot has become a hub for young musicians to hone their skills and entertain local audiences.
The addition of a dedicated stage is expected to elevate these performances, providing a professional platform for talent showcases during summer and Christmas events.
This initiative underscores the Rotary Club District 6580's unwavering commitment to fostering safe and engaging spaces for the youth of our community.
In related news, the city is gearing up for the much-anticipated Community Days Festival on September 19-20, 2025.
The festival promises a weekend filled with live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities, culminating in a spectacular drone show.
Events like these highlight Charlestown's dedication to community engagement and the arts.
For more information on upcoming events and community initiatives, residents are encouraged to stay connected with local announcements and participate in the vibrant cultural life of Charlestown. |
