After an impressive 31-year tenure, Alan Goldstein, the esteemed interpretive naturalist and park paleontologist, is set to retire from Falls of the Ohio State Park on November 8, 2025.
This marks a significant moment for the Clarksville community.
To commemorate his invaluable contributions, the park is hosting "The Last Afternoon with Alan" from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the rotunda of the Interpretive Center.
Attendees are encouraged to bring rocks and fossils for identification, engage in discussions about geology and paleontology, and listen to Alan share cherished memories from his time at the park.
Located at 201 W. Riverside Drive, Clarksville, IN 47129, the park's Interpretive Center offers a unique setting for this farewell event.
