Greater Clark County Schools has approved a new two-year contract with the Greater Clark Education Association, bringing notable salary boosts for its teachers.
Starting July 1, 2025, entry-level teacher pay will jump to $52,000 with a $2,000 increase in the first year.
In year two, qualifying educators will see an additional $1,500 salary increase, while a $90,000 cap remains in place.
Teachers will also benefit from a $500 yearly contribution to eligible Health Savings Accounts, and an extra $200 for those holding a Literacy Endorsement.
Superintendent Mark Laughner reaffirmed the districtâs dedication to educators while balancing budgets.
Board President Irene Bustamante Adams stressed these pay raises will help attract and retain excellent staff.
